Certification Courses

The JennScents Aromatherapy Certification Course Program is a home-study program. All of our certification courses are Level I and Level II NAHA certified approved and NCBTMB approved. With each certification course you will receive a workbook, DVD (watch at your leisure and convenience) and accessibility to Holistic Aromatherapist and educator, Jennifer Hochell Pressimone. All certification courses consist of homework, lab work, case studies, book report and final exam. An 85% or higher must be achieved in order to be awarded your Certificate of Achievement.

There is one course for level I and 7 courses to complete for level II. After completion of all 8 courses, you will achieve a Certificate as a Certified Holistic Aromatherapist (CHA).

Our 248-hour program is designed to offer in-depth training and education about the true aromatherapy history, principles, foundations, practical applications, essential oil profiles and much more. Courses include an instructional DVD, workbook, homework and lab assignments and certificate of completion. Courses follow NAHA established guidelines and prepare you for the National Aromatherapy Exam to be a Registered Aromatherapist, RA.

Level I - 1 course
1. Introduction to Holistic Aromatherapy, 30-hour class, $150
This workshop is designed to offer detailed information about aromatherapy history, quality importance, safety guidelines, blending tips and essential oil descriptions. Hands-on course includes workbook, DVD, formulas, 8 class hours, 22 lab hours and a certificate of achievement.

Level II - 7 courses
2. Advanced Holistic Aromatherapy, 24-hour class, $150
This workshop focuses on practical applications and preparations using essential oils, carrier oils and botanical extracts. Learn about the olfaction process, quality testing, essential oil chemistry, physical and emotional concerns, blending techniques and recipes. Hands-on course includes workbook, DVD, 8 class hours, 16 lab hours and a
certificate of achievement.

3. Specialized Holistic Aromatherapy, 24-hour class, $150
You will learn about 5 distinct specialized areas of aromatherapy: women, men, children, animals and natural cleaning solutions. Gain in-depth knowledge, practical applications, essential oil and carrier profiles in addition to valuable recipes and formulas. Hands-on course includes workbook, DVD, 8 class hours, 16 lab hours and a certificate of achievement.

4. Holistic Aromatherapy for Body Systems, 24-hour class, $150
Gain in-depth knowledge about various body systems, their correlating ailments and natural remedies. Learn how to effectively discover root causes of symptoms and how to create a wellness program customized to meet specific needs. Hands-on course includes workbook, DVD, 8 class hours, 16 lab hours and a certificate of achievement.

5. Holistic Aromatherapy & Herbal Integration, 24-hour class, $150
This course is designed to help you effectively choose and integrate herbal supplementation and aromatherapy for common health concerns. Hands-on course includes workbook and DVD with discussion of each body system and their common ailments, recipes and formulas; 8 class hours, 16 lab hours and a certificate of achievement.

6. Holistic Aromatherapy & Skin Care,32-hour class, $165
This course is designed to help you effectively choose and create natural skin care products using carriers, herbs, botanicals and essential oils. Learn about various essential oil properties and benefits, carriers and herbs and which to use for certain skin care types to create an overall therapeutic skin care program. Includes workbook, DVD, 8 class hours, 24 lab hours and a certificate of achievement

7. Holistic Aromatherapy for Emotional Healing, 40-hour class, $185
Gain in-depth insight about various emotional concerns, aromatic remedies and practical applications. Learn how emotions can affect physical and mental concerns. For many people, this is the root of their health concerns, illness or disease. This invaluable hands-on course includes workbook, DVD, 8 class hours, 32 lab hours and a certificate of achievement.

8. Aromatherapy Business Building Guide, 50 hour class, $195
This course offers valuable information about starting an aromatherapy business as well as operating and managing the business year after year. Gain essential tools, tips, ideas and strategies for establishing your business including a financial and business plan, licensing, marketing and advertising, operational procedures and more. Entrepreneur and Aromatherapist Jennifer Pressimone, shares her business secrets of success. Includes workbook, DVD, 8 class hours, 42 lab hours and certificate of achievement.
